A door that won't close properly or a lock that sticks is both an annoyance and a security gap. We fix hinges, frames, locks and handles on interior and exterior doors.
In a bungalow or cottage, access is usually straightforward, which lets us bring the right parts and finish most repairs in a single visit.
In a detached or semi-detached home, we can usually park at the property and bring tools straight in, which keeps repair visits efficient.
Most properties have driveways, so we can park on site and bring tools and materials straight to the work area.
This area is on the Island of Montréal, so travel is short and same-day response is often possible.
Pointe-aux-Trembles, at the eastern tip of the island along the St. Lawrence, is a quiet riverside district of bungalows and low-rise homes. Riverside lots and older foundations make moisture checks a regular part of basement and exterior jobs.
Sticking cylinders, worn latches and misaligned strike plates are the usual culprits when a lock jams or a door will not close tight.
