New lighting changes a room instantly. We install chandeliers, pot lights, ceiling fans and fixtures safely, up to code, with clean finishing work.
Walk-up triplexes with iron spiral staircases line the streets around Avenue du Mont-Royal and rue Saint-Denis. Most buildings date from the early 1900s, so shared stairwells, original woodwork and tight back lanes shape how a job gets done.
Fixtures must match the box, ceiling type and load, and old wiring or missing grounding is common behind older fixtures.
In a plex, narrow stairs and shared hallways shape how heavy items move, so we measure the path first and protect walls and landings before we carry anything in.
In a heritage home, we check wall, ceiling and floor construction before mounting anything, then install so original trim and plaster stay intact.
Many streets here have back lanes or narrow frontage, so we plan where to stage tools and materials before the visit.
