A broken fridge or washer can't wait. FixWorks sends a licensed technician to diagnose and fix major home appliances quickly, with honest pricing and no surprise fees.
Mile Ex, the former industrial district between Mile End and Parc-Extension, is now full of lofts, studios and renovated plexes. Converted warehouses and old plexes sit side by side, so one street can need very different solutions.
Fridges, washers and stoves usually fail from worn seals, clogged drains, failed heating elements or control boards — we diagnose first so you only pay for the part that is actually bad.
In a condo or apartment building we confirm building rules first, book the elevator when needed and protect common areas, so repairs stay quick and tidy.
In a plex we often work with several households in one building, so we confirm access with the owner and tenants, keep shared stairs clear and aim to finish in as few visits as possible.
Many streets here have back lanes or narrow frontage, so we plan where to stage tools and materials before the visit.
This area is on the Island of Montréal, so travel is short and same-day response is often possible.
As a rule of thumb, if the repair costs less than about half of a new unit and the appliance is under ten years old, repair is usually the better value. We tell you honestly after diagnosing.
We carry the most common seals, elements, pumps and sensors, so many repairs finish in a single visit.
