Smooth walls start with proper installation. We hang, tape, mud and sand new drywall so seams disappear and every surface is ready for paint.
In a plex, structure and services are shared, so we locate joists, pipes and wiring before we build, and plan noise and dust control for neighbours above and below.
In a heritage home, walls are rarely square and materials are older, so we measure on site and build to what is really there rather than to a drawing.
Parking is mostly on the street here, so we time visits and load-in to avoid permit and loading-zone problems.
Our team is based in Montréal, so jobs across the city's boroughs are usually scheduled quickly.
Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, around rue Ontario Est and Parc Maisonneuve, is known for its early-20th-century plexes and the Marché Maisonneuve. Many plexes here are over a century old, so structural surprises behind walls are worth planning for.
New drywall needs tight seams, correct fastener depth and proper taping stages — rushed finishing shows through paint.
Hanging is quick, but taping and drying between coats add days — we plan the schedule up front.
We can match many existing textures or finish smooth, depending on your preference.
